1. The platform
PaddlesCity is a peer-to-peer marketplace for used pickleball paddles. We provide listings, payment processing (via Stripe), and dispute resolution tooling. We are not a merchant, reseller, or guarantor of the items listed. Sellers are the merchants of record for their listings.
2. Listings
Sellers are responsible for accurate descriptions, accurate condition grading, and accurate photos. Listings that misrepresent items in a way a reasonable buyer would consider material may be removed and may result in account suspension.
3. Buying
Buyers are responsible for evaluating listings before purchase. After purchase, funds are held in escrow for 7 days following delivery confirmation by the carrier. Buyers may dispute a transaction within the escrow window through the in-app dispute channel.
4. Disputes
PaddlesCity provides messaging tools and a 7-day escrow window for buyer/seller resolution. PaddlesCity does not adjudicate disputes; if the parties do not resolve a dispute by the close of the escrow window, the platform's pre-declared default rule (refund to buyer) applies.
5. Fees
PaddlesCity charges a platform fee on completed transactions. The current rate is published on the Sell page at the time of listing and is deducted from the seller's payout.
6. Limitation of liability
PaddlesCity is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaddlesCity's liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the platform fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
